Many guests even start their night on the first floor for dinner, and then head upstairs for some casual drinks or to listen to some live music. We offer an atmosphere and a vibe that is quite different than any restaurant in the region. On the first floor, our main dining room and bar offer a more upscale casual vibe, making it the perfect destination for a date night, a night out with friends, and family, or that special occasion or celebration. You can dine indoors by a fireplace or outdoors by any number of fire pits, or just enjoy drinks at the bar or on our outdoor patio. Our menu includes everything from pizza, wings, burgers, and salads, to some higher-end, made-from-scratch entrees that you would expect to see at an upscale. The Los Angeles craft beer scene is an absolute behemoth, supporting dozens of award-winning brewers across different cities and setups.

The semi-hidden corner location also now welcomes a variety of food pop-ups. Gorgeous restaurant both interior and exterior of building. Very accommodating and our waitress continued to check on us throughout the night to see if there was anything that we needed. Ate dinner here on recommendation from a client while on a business trip, and had a lovely meal!

Paperback Brewing has very good beer, especially if you’re a hazy IPA connoisseur, but the biggest reason we love this Glendale brewery is its space. Located in an old 1940s-era airplane hangar, drinking at Paperback feels like you’re in line for Soarin’ Around The World at California Adventure, except the only ride here is sitting and relaxing for a few hours. Even during peak weekend hours, you’ll always be able to find an open table, and when you get hungry, you’ll find a food truck or two parked out front. San Pedro’s own Brouwerij West is a modern-day craft success story, going from a small brewing operation into one of the area’s coolest places to hang out and sip beer. This massive warehouse can seat endless drinkers, and on weekends it bustles with food and lots of San Pedro and Long Beach locals.

IronRock Tap House Reviews

Service was outstanding and our waitress always attentive. The first thing you'll notice when arriving is how beautiful the architecture is. We got the pork nachos to start and couldn't believe our eyes when they arrived... Progress Brewing is a big deal for El Monte, the bedroom community east of Downtown Los Angeles. Crisp classics and unique newcomers (try the Sandia Loca, a blonde ale with watermelon and chamoy) play nicely here.

There are English-style brews made in Van Nuys, barreled lambics drawn in Long Beach, and gold metal IPAs and hazies scattered across the county. Some of the great beer-drinking spots on this list actually make their own beer, while others simply sell it in taprooms — while offering a seat at a popular community hub. Here now are 19 places to enjoy excellent craft beer in Los Angeles right now. This indoor-outdoor taproom in an industrial section of the Valley is less "dark and cozy pub" and more "low-key loading dock with brewing equipment" but we love that there are lots of tables, lots of dart boards, and a welcoming crowd of locals. The beers here are brewed and poured in cask, which means robust flavors and little-to-no carbonation (it's a little odd to get used to, but quite tasty).

Opt for one of the many selections from the taproom, especially the fermented Michelada. Culver City’s new Ivy Station tasting room from LA Ale Works is already a hit, thanks to its transit-friendly location, ample patio space, and, of course, its collection of Hawthorne-brewed beers. Iron Horse Brewery is a local craft brewery located in Washington State. With dozens of taps and a lot of hard-to-source beer, Glendale Tap has emerged as one of the city’s best beer bars over the past decade.

When it’s warm,  take advantage of outdoor picnic tables spread across the astroturf lawn. They also have a smaller tasting room in Culver City right next to the metro. Originally from Georgia, Creature Comforts is a Downtown brewery in the same complex as Rossoblu and Dama. The industrial space has a large interior with plenty of TVs, plus a giant wrap-around front patio ideal for getting a little red on a Saturday afternoon. They’ve got around 12 different beers on tap ranging from Belgian-style pilsners to a sour ale, but we tend to go for the Bigger Dreams, a hazy IPA with heavy notes of tangerine and grapefruit. If you’re looking for a quick drink before dinner, Creature Comforts is a great low-key option.

Pick Up Your Favorite Food

This boardwalk staple has helped shift the craft beer scene for all of Southern California, thanks to years of pulling in unique kegs from other breweries and throwing massive tasting parties that promoted the scene long before anyone else. IronRock Tap House is a unique local eatery and bar that focuses on delivering the highest quality food, expertly prepared, and served in an elegant yet casual atmosphere. MacLeod is a standard-bearer for the San Fernando Valley beer scene and opened in Highland Park in October 2022. The place specializes in traditional English styles and has continued to push boundaries with its food (including a big pizza focus) over the past few years, as well. This Lincoln Heights spot is frequently crowded thanks to its ample indoor-outdoor hangout space, quality brews (and cider), ongoing events and parties, and wide range of pop-up food nights. Homage is the type of brewery for those who like things a bit chill.

This is an intimate spot on the northeast edge of Chinatown where bartenders draw the tap for hoppy and malty lagers or ales, saisons, and a small but excellent wine list. The kitchen serves small bites too at both this location and in Pomona. We stopped for lunch on a Wednesday , Sue was our fabulous server/bartender! She was very personable and made our dining experience exceptional!

Check out our menus for our Executive Chef's latest made-from-scratch options. The Tahoe Tap Haus was founded in 2018 with a goal of providing a local selection of beers on tap, and about half of our 16 taps are always dedicated to breweries within 100 miles. We offer a fresh spin on California pub fare, and are dedicated to being a family-friendly, community-gathering spot for both visitors and locals. We are located across from beautiful Lake Tahoe and adjacent to our sister business, the Tahoe Art Haus & Cinema. There's a solid menu of bar snacks menu with things like burgers and wings to fish sandwiches and kimchi, all way better than they need to be. This is where you should be drinking hoppy pilsners before a Dodgers game.

There’s charm in every corner plus killer views with indoor and outdoor seating on a dog-friendly patio. Try one of the 20 beers on tap with wings, nachos, flatbreads, charcuterie boards, or the beer-braised short ribs over mac and cheese. All Season Brewing in Mid-Wilshire is geographically central, making it an easy place to bring together people who live on opposite sides of the city. Which might also explain why this place is perpetually packed. Housed in a former car service station, All Season has indoor and outdoor seating, a row of skeeball machines, and a Chicas Taco window out back, so you don’t have to wander far for food.

Guests will be treated to a Michelin-level three-course dinner, presented by OpenTable, with a menu designed by Lakshmi and Gold Gala executive chef Vijay Kumar and his team behind Semma in New York City. We are located off of Nicholson, about a mile from downtown Baton Rouge.

If you think you took a wrong turn and ended up in a warehouse yard, you’re at the right place. Boomtown Brewing is the most fun thing happening on this extra-industrial block of the Arts District, and somewhere you can fit a lot of people on a weekend afternoon. Between an alleyway and two giant warehouses, there’s plenty of seating. Expect nearly 20 beers on the menu including crisp rice lagers, fruity sours, and a tasty California IPA humorously called the Nose Job. You’ll also usually find some kind of entertainment happening at any given time, from ping pong to pool to the occasional live DJ set.
